Placing
an Order
|
| If you would like to place and order with
us you can do it several ways: |
| Use the e-commerce
Shopping Cart and a Credit Card... RECOMMENDED! |
Security Note:
This order system uses the latest SSL Encrypted Security. Therefore,
you can be assured that all information will be sent safely. |
- Simply press the "Add" or "Add to Cart" button
next to the product of your choice.
- Set the quantity if more than one item is needed.
- When you click on the "Add" button your
"Shopping Cart" screen will appear to show you exactly
what you have ordered. From this page you can continue shopping,
recalculate your order (if you changed something) or Checkout.
- Your order is totally secure and can be changed or cancelled
at any time before you actually submit it. So don't worry..it's
safe and easy!
- If you need an item to be programmed you can list the
programming information on the order form. There is a space
provided for comments and programming info. Include
receive frequency, transmit frequency and PL/DPL tone for each
channel. If your radio is "Alpha" capable (has a display
for channel names) include an eight character or less
"Name" for each channel, i.e.- Channel 1 might be
"Engine 1", Channel 2 might be "Rescue 6"
etc.
- When your done shopping and ready to Checkout click on the
"View Shopping Cart" button near the bottom of the
page and follow the easy instructions. Fill in the shipping and
credit card information which is sent securely to us when
you click on the "Submit Secure Order" button.
- Your done. Print out the "You order has been successfully
received" page for your records. This has your order number
which you should keep for future reference.
- Note: This is the easiest and quickest
method for ordering. It's the most accurate and all the shipping
charges are automatically calculated.
- Note 2: If you feel uncomfortable
sending your credit card information over the web simply place your
order normally using the shopping cart and when checking out use
credit card number "1234-1234-1234-1234" and expiration
date 01/05. Then call us toll free at 1-877-273-5520 with your true
credit card information to complete your order.

- Because we are an e-commerce business, phone orders are impossible
to take. Our system requires online calculations for shipping,
insurance etc. These calculations can not be done on the phone. We
realize some people are not comfortable giving their credit card
number online so please do the following:
- Place your order online using the "Add to Cart" or
"Add" buttons and then click on "Checkout"
when you are done shopping.
- Fill out all the information required on the checkout form and
use 1234 1234 1234 1234 as your credit card number. Use any
expiration date you like.
- Call Toll Free - 1-877-273-5520 from
anywhere in the U.S. and give us your name, order number and
credit card information.
- Your order can now be processed and your credit card number has
not entered the system via the internet.
- Please Note: Taking phone orders
would cause price increases to cover the extra staffing and
paperwork required. Our past experience has shown that phone
orders increase mistakes and lower the quality of service. Please
help us have the lowest prices possible by using the e-commerce
features of this site.

- When ordering by fax...please use the following procedure:
- Place the order first using our e-commerce system. For all
credit card payment information type in "Purchase Order". Click the
"Proceed With Checkout" button.
- Follow the e-commerce system instructions and choose your
shipping preference. Click the "Continue" button.
- The page that now appears is your Total Cost page. Click the
Print button or icon on your web browser. Use this page to create
your Purchase Order. All information and totals are present. Click
the "Submit Secure Order" button.
- We now have an exact description of your order on our secure
server. We will process and ship the order only when we receive your
Purchase Order Fax.
- Create your Purchase Order using the information generated on
your Total Cost page from the e-commerce system and Fax us at 781 294-4993.
Your Fax should contain the information below:
- Quantity and exact description for each item you would like.
- Purchase Order Number (established accounts) or Wire Transfer
Confirmation information.
- Phone and email so we can contact you if necessary.
- Programming information if your items need programming. Include
receive frequency, transmit frequency and PL/DPL tone for each
channel. If your radio is "Alpha" capable (has a display
for channel names) include an eight character or less
"Name" for each channel, i.e.- Channel 1 might be
"Engine 1", Channel 2 might be "Rescue 6" etc.
- Shipping address and method of shipping (ground, Next Day Air,
etc.).

- Personal Check (allow an additional 14 working day for check
to clear before items will be shipped) payable to Multec

etc.). Go to UPS quick calculate to get an idea of shipping
methods and cost. The origin Zip Code is 02370 - UPS
Quick Cost Note: Add shipping/insurance
+ $5.00 handling charge
to your total cost if paying by check. There may be a C.O.D.
charge on your order if you underestimate shipping/ insurance +
handling.
- Note: This method of ordering tends
to be inaccurate since there is no way to exactly calculate
shipping/insurance and a C.O.D. charge may result if paying by check.
