Note: The CN-3 is designed to allow the connection of an external antenna to a Vertex Standard portable radio. This will markedly improve performance when a portable radio is used in a vehicle or an enclosed area. This also allows a portable radio to be used as a temporary base station. The BNC female connector is easily adapted to a wide range of mobile and base antenna connector types.
