Waterproof External Automatic Antenna Tuner (see description below)
A microprocessor-controlled
antenna impedance matching system that makes use of control circuitry
inside the transceiver. The operator can monitor and control operation of
the FC-40, which mounts near the antenna feed point. The FC-40 may be
mounted outdoors in exposed locations.
Designed for operation on 7 - 54 MHz, when using an 8’ whip like the
YA-007FG, or on 1.8 - 54 MHz when used with a random-length wire longer
than 66 feet. Matching time < 5 sec. Drive power is 4 - 60 Watts. 200
match-setting-point memories are used for instant recall of the tuning
settings. |
